Description: The project was secured from an existing client through negotiation. Duke's Education had an existing Fine Arts College in Belsize Park that required additional space. The college is located in a courtyard behind shops on England's Lane. An existing shop became available, and the college took the opportunity to expand into the space. As the shop backed onto the existing college they were able to join the two buildings. Works commenced in the Autumn term and carried through to the Christmas holidays, when we joined the two buildings together. Refurbishing the existing Graphics room and forming a new corridor for access to the new space. The works consisted of; - Full strip out - Structural steel work - Floor screeding to basement - New floating floors - New M&E installation - New Data and Fire Alarm installation - Solid and glazed partitions - New doors and staircases - Floor covering - Decorations
